Going below, you are welcomed by natural light from the hull windows into a bright, well-ventilated interior with plenty of headroom. Modern Scandinavian design elements are brought to life with hand-crafted, top-quality woodwork in the best of Swedish boatbuilding traditions. Beautifully varnished surfaces with rounded edges for comfort and safety in a seaway and with sturdy handholds just where you would expect them to be.

Wherever possible we have optimised materials and components to save weight, maintain structural integrity and strength to create pure sailing performance. The hull, deck and internal structure including three of the bulkheads and the ring frames, are vacuum infused sandwich constructions with strategic use of unidirectional carbon fabric and the majority of the wooden interior, including the floorboards, is crafted using foam-cored marine plywood. These factors enable the Arcona 50 to have a large enough sail area to secure thrilling performance in both light and fresh wind conditions, as the weight of the lead bulb is maximized to increase stability. Stability equals sailing power and safety.
